Product Introduction

Fiberglass mesh is made of woven fiberglass fabric as the base material, coated with a high-polymer anti-emulsion. 

This gives it excellent alkali resistance, flexibility, and high tensile strength in both warp and weft directions.

It can be widely used for thermal insulation, waterproofing, fireproofing, and crack resistance in the interior and exterior walls of buildings.

 Fiberglass mesh is primarily made of alkali-resistant fiberglass, using alkali-free fiberglass yarn (its main component is silicate, with good chemical stability).

It is woven with a special weave structure—a leno weave—and then subjected to high-temperature heat setting treatment with alkali-resistant liquid and reinforcing agents.

Features

1. Good chemical stability. Resistant to alkalis, acids, water, cement erosion, and other chemical corrosion; strong adhesion to resins and easily soluble in styrene, etc.

2. High strength, high modulus, and lightweight.

3. Good dimensional stability, stiff, flat, not easily shrinking or deforming, and excellent positioning.

4. Good toughness. Good impact resistance.

5. Mildew-proof and insect-proof.

6. Fireproof, heat-insulating, sound-insulating, and electrical-insulating.

Main Applications

1) Wall reinforcement materials (such as fiberglass wall mesh, GRC wall panels, EPS interior and exterior wall insulation boards, gypsum board, etc.).

2) Reinforcing cement products (such as Roman columns, flues, etc.).

3) Special mesh for granite and mosaic, marble backing mesh.

4) Waterproof membrane fabric, asphalt roof waterproofing.

5) Reinforcing material for plastic and rubber products.

6) Fireproof board.

7) Grinding wheel base cloth.

8) Geogrid for highway pavement.

9) Joint sealing tape for construction, etc.
